My name is Jesse Hayes, and I enjoy mountain biking regularly. I started biking about three years ago and have been increasing the amount of riding ever since. I hope to schedule a ride at least once a month at various trails in the area and depending on interest an occasional road trip to trails further away.
Olivia and I have been attending Trailhead for about 2 1/2 years, and we actively volunteer in children’s church. We believe it is important to build relationships in the church and community.
We are newlyweds and love adventure. We love attending sporting events, going out to eat, and participating in activities outdoors. I am an athletic director so due to our schedules, most of our events will take place on weekends. We live in Burlington so most of our events will be in Burlington, but we don’t mind traveling to surrounding areas!
Tina and I have been active runners for a few years now. We have a passion for anything physical fitness and we are super excited to start this group to share our passion with others. We run on different terrains and just enjoy to run. We will try to meet at least 2 times per month. Can’t wait to see everyone
I’ve been playing disc golf for 35+ years and still play tournaments in the grand master pro division. But I mostly just play for fun with my buds and my dog Buster. I love to encourage and mentor new players as they learn the dynamics and rules of the game. We would be playing at Cedarock park mostly, as there are two 18 hole courses there. Players need to be able to walk about 1.5 miles on hilly to rough terrain, and have plenty of hydration. I can provide loaner golf discs for beginners, and by the way… it’s free! I would not recommend kids under the age of 14. Its hard to have an exact age cut off, but they need to be fairly coordinated, respectful of other players, and stay behind the direction of play, as golf drivers are sharp edged and can cause injury. Also, disc golf is weather contingent, so rain or high winds will cause rescheduling. Be strong, pray long, and throw long!
We have been married for 35 years and have ministered out of our home as elders and pastors for most of our marriage. This group will be focused on adults and married couples and will feature a relaxed atmosphere where we can view faith-building videos with discussion afterward. We will lean away from videos that involve homework as we do not want to place people in a position of skipping group because they were busy or forgot to do it. We will pray together at each meeting to lift up the prayer needs of members. We would like to also do occasional outdoor fellowship activities such as boating and campfires as our home is on the Haw River.
We may be retired but we still think like 30 year olds. We love to fellowship and have fun with all age groups. We would like to invite singles, married couples, and families with and without kids to our group. We enjoy outdoor activities like picnics and hiking, and indoor activities as well. Allen likes playing golf and Kerry likes tracing family trees. We both enjoy studying and learning history. Our group get together and events will mostly be on a Friday evenings, Saturday, or Sunday afternoons. Come join us for fellowship, spiritual growth and fun!
“We are farmers, bum ba dum bum bum bum bum!” Brian and I (Nicole) are thrilled to be leading a group this year with our trailhead family! We have been blessed by this church since 2012 and have enjoyed raising our family here. We are in our early 30’s and have two boys ages 4 and 2. Any young families in their mid 20’s to late 30’s would fit right in with our crazy clan. We hope to typically plan family friendly events on Fridays, Saturdays, and maybe some Sundays after church depending on the availability of the group. Most events will probably be kid-friendly, but we plan to throw in some kid-free events too for everyone’s enjoyment (and sanity haha). Some monthly get-togethers would include (but not be limited to) cookouts/bonfires, hiking/picnics at local parks, bowling, science centers or children’s museums, zoo trip, ladies/men’s nights, game nights, local baseball game, splash park, camping, partnering with another Trailguide group for outings…and of course any ideas the group comes up with that may peak an interest. Brian is in local law enforcement and is in the national guard and Nicole works at a medical facility in durham so needless to say, we are used to working around crazy schedules to accommodate everyone. We live in Gibsonville, but the events would vary between Gibsonville, Burlington, Graham and other local areas depending on the event for the month. We can’t wait to meet you all!”
We are a married couple in our mid 30’s with an 8 yr old daughter, Echoe, and a small puppy, Koda! We love to spend time as a family and enjoy outings and get togethers that are family friendly! Josh is a huge foodie and enjoys cooking and eating, so our group will definitely spend time filling up on delicious meals! Our family also enjoys being outside and partaking in leisure activities (walking, low-moderate hikes, golf, swimming, biking, etc.). We welcome anyone from all ages and walks of life that share in these same interests to join us on this journey!
We offer a recreational adult coed basketball group, open to all skill levels! We typically play once a month, on a Sunday afternoon. If you love to play a friendly game of basketball, with little bit of healthy competition, come out and be a part of the team! “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (NLT, Philippians 4:13)
We are small family of 4 in our late 20’s! One 3 year old girl and a 5 month old boy, oh and 2 pups and 5 baby chickens! We love the outdoors and camping/hiking. We love crafting, eating, and enjoying friends and family. We will be doing outdoor activities at local parks, local events that are going on, as well as dinners and game nights.
We are a married couple (10 years this year) in our early 30’s with 4 daughters: Olivia-7, Charlotte-5, Amelia-2, and Hazel- 1.5 months. We live in Burlington. Alex has an IT role at Labcorp and travels often. Alexis is a stay at home Mom. As if life wasn’t crazy enough, we also have 4 dogs and 4 cats. We are typically home bodies. We love hanging out at home with the kiddos playing outside, watching movies, or spending time with our parents. Obviously, the majority of our events will be family focused because we feel it is so important for our kids to see us enjoying healthy Christian friendships. We also see this as an amazing opportunity for our kids to build lifelong Christian friendships. We want our group to love on each other, encourage one another and build each other up. Iron sharpens iron. We have some ideas for really fun group events, but we also want to involve everyone in planning. The events will vary in location, but we plan to do most events on the weekend, between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening. We look forward to meeting all of you and your families!
This group will meet every other Monday morning at 8:00 am at the Roasted Coffee Depot in Graham. This group is for women of all ages and walks of life who love coffee and want to build friendships with other women.

Our current members are ages 20 to 65 who share a love of motorcycles in a Christian environment. We hold weekly fellowship rides, charity rides, weekend trips and outreaches for Christ around the hub of motorcycling. If you are a licensed rider and have access to a motorcycle this a great group for you! Each affiliate group of fellowship riders is hosted by a local church. The national group holds a strict Christian code of conduct and have national SOPs, guidelines and rules that govern each affiliate group nationwide. Our groups involves themselves with local and personal evangelism, angel tree ministry, prison ministry, and expanding global evangelistic outreach to name a few. As fellowshipriders.org explodes world-wide with riders coming to Jesus worldwide. Our national mottos are “Powered by Christ” and “Start a rumble in your church”. Nationally 98% of all motorcycle riders are unchurched. Here is our ministry field white to harvest.

We will meet once a month and choose family friendly activities every month. Occasionally, we may have a bible study or men/women only event. We are so blessed to have you join us to better the kingdom!
We are Taylor and Leslie (26 and 35 yrs old) and have been married for 5 years and have two children (Kennedy, 4 and Kolton, 2). Leslie works in the school system and loves being with kids. Taylor is in law enforcement and his schedule is the reason that our meeting dates and times will vary. It will be our goal to plan and schedule events enough in advance to allot enough time for preparation and flexibility around the crazy schedules of work and family!
We want our group to include all ages, families, singles and kids. We look forward to cookouts, potlucks (dinners), game nights and sporting events! We love being outdoors and eating! We want our group to be about fellowship and loving on each other. We want group members to feel welcome at all times. We can’t wait to love on our group and become like family!
Tim and I have been married 6 years and have 2 little girls, our 5 year old daughter Carigan and our infant daughter Delaney. Our Trailguide group is a family oriented group. We like to plan the majority of our events as kid friendly activities that can involve the whole family. The age range for the group is generally in the mid 20’s to late 30’s, with children ranging from infant to school age. We enjoy a variety of activities, such as outdoor hikes, picnics, volunteering, cooks outs and game nights. We typically meet on the weekends, but the days can vary depending on the event and everyone’s availability. This group is a great way to strengthen relationships, create memories, spend quality time with family and grow together in Jesus Christ.
The focus of our group is to help you feel welcome and make meaningful connections. We are in our mid-30s and have two children under ten. Our group is primarily focused on young couples or singles between late 20s and mid 40s, with kids of any age in tow! Events are generally fellowship-minded, including picnics, pot lucks, board game nights, etc. Events are largely kid-inclusive, but occasionally we gear events towards adults only. We aim to meet on Fridays or Saturdays, and we
generally stay in the Graham/Mebane/Gibsonville area, although these can vary.
If you want a genuinely welcome environment for meeting new people with no pressure, we would love to have you in our group!
A time of personal prayer. Adults seeking God’s Face- His Presence- through worship, prayer, meditation, journaling, and the Word- Ps 27:4,8. As Moses heard God speak from the burning bush- Ex 3:3-5 – we yearn to hear His Voice also. Our goal-individually establishing and maintaining a personal passionate relationship with our Personal Passionate God and Creator. Time: 7:00-8:30 PM
Daniel and I are very active and athletic. We love sports, Jesus, and Trailhead! We will be hosting a co-ed sporting event once a month for anyone who is looking for a way to become involved. Our goal is to be diverse in our athletic events and as competitive as possible! We hope you will join us as we build our Trailhead community, one sporting event at a time.
This will be an active ladies Group that will meet on the first Friday evening of every month. We will enjoY activities together that will inClude putt putt, dinner, movie, coffee, etc, a different activity each month to connect ladies. If you are having trouble making connections with other ladies in the church, then this group is a great place to start finding that coNnection!
Our mission for this group is to take on interceding for Alamance county. We sing, pray and worship the Lord at every meeting. We will start going to different places to pray over places and peoples. We are going to start taking responsibility for our county and when we see a wrong we will pray for a way for God to make a right. We believe that we need more of God in our community and the best way is through prayer and worship. So if you have a desire to intercede through prayer, dance, drawing, painting or most any art form come on and try us out, if you like what we are about then sign up. God made all of the arts and He lets us use what He has made for His Glory and Honor. I am so excited to get this started, I felt led to change our group name and to change our meetings somewhat. Come on out and catch a blessing and be a blessing to our entire community.
My name is Joe Hunt, and I enjoy going golfing regularly. Our group would plan to go to the driving range weekly or biweekly, and play a round of golf once or twice a month depending on interest, weather, etc. Personally, my schedule is flexible, but I can see the possibility of doing the driving range in the evenings (especially as we get into summer) and playing rounds on the weekends.
I want to share my love of the Joey Bag of Donuts. We will meet every other “Moe Monday” at 12:30pm to take advantage of their discounted burritos and free drink. Meeting in Mebane but if interest shows we could do Burlington every other week.
Welcome to the Trailhead Mom’s Group! This group is to help support and encourage all moms in every season! Each month we will plan a fun and exciting activity where we, as the awesome moms that we are, and all of our adorable little sweethearts can come together in fellowship! Events will be planned at various times and dates to accommodate every mom’s busy schedule! We look forward to taking the time to get to know each other and build strong relationships as we serve the Lord together! Just know that this group is here for YOU, we are all here to show love and to let you know that you are not alone!!
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, (Acts 2:46)… I am Kelle Burton a lover of all things food. We would meet monthly to eat at local restaurants. We would meet at different non chained restaurants.
I am a knitwear designer / teacher / instructional illustrator. I would like to have a group of eager knitters and crocheters that would make prayer blankets. They will be used for the church distribution to needed members and local hospitals. Our group will meet 7:00 – 9:00 pm The second Thursday each month to knit/crochet, encourage and share our creations. All experience levels welcome. I’d be happy to teach anyone that has a desire to learn and serve. Location changes so join the group for updates.
We are Rob and Cari Schmidt, a couple transitioning from our thirties to forties with three teenage daughters. Rob is an IT Professional who works from home, and Cari is an elementary school teacher. We are so excited to be leading a Trailguide group at Trailhead! We recently moved to NC from WA where we were part of a group for many years and made lifelong friendships. Our desire is to create the same type of group with you- one where we fellowship together, laugh together, pray together, and basically just do life together! We would love to do a short bible study, prayer, and fellowship each Thursday evening, and then meet for a meal and/or some sort of fun event on the fourth week. We even have three built in babysitters for our bible study weeks, so we welcome *all* ages, young and old!
Our group will meet once a month for lunch in Durham, somewhere near Duke hospital. if you work in Durham and would be able to break out of the office once in a while for lunch with some fun ladies, join us!
Genesis 1:2 says that “The Spirit of God was MOVING over the face of the waters.” Have you ever imagined this scene? The Holy Spirit moving?
Movement was present during the creation of the world. Throughout the Bible, we see that God created music and dance for His Glory! And He invites us to dance in worship.
We plan to meet once a week to dedicate 90 minutes of worship in dance. We will also be directing some exercises, but the goal is to gather worshipers together, to pray and dance together. We call those who are open and willing to join us in the presence of God and with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
If you have ever listened to worship music and something inside of you wants to dance or you imagine yourself dancing, come join us!
“Praise Him with timbrel and dancing…” ~Psalm 150:4
