Tim and I have been married 6 years and have 2 little girls, our 5 year old daughter Carigan and our infant daughter Delaney. Our Trailguide group is a family oriented group. We like to plan the majority of our events as kid friendly activities that can involve the whole family. The age range for the group is generally in the mid 20’s to late 30’s, with children ranging from infant to school age. We enjoy a variety of activities, such as outdoor hikes, picnics, volunteering, cooks outs and game nights. We typically meet on the weekends, but the days can vary depending on the event and everyone’s availability. This group is a great way to strengthen relationships, create memories, spend quality time with family and grow together in Jesus Christ.
I want to share my love of the Joey Bag of Donuts. We will meet every other “Moe Monday” at 12:30pm to take advantage of their discounted burritos and free drink. Meeting in Mebane but if interest shows we could do Burlington every other week.
This group will meet every other Monday morning at 8:00 am at the Roasted Coffee Depot in Graham. This group is for women of all ages and walks of life who love coffee and want to build friendships with other women.
We are a couple in our late 20s with a 5 year old son and a baby on the way. Our group is mostly couples, 20’s-30’s and kid friendly. We usually meet on a Saturday or Sunday near the end of the month. We like to go out to eat, have holiday parties, and game nights. We also do some indoor and some outdoor events.
The focus of our group is to help you feel welcome and make meaningful connections. We are in our mid-30s and have two children under ten. Our group is primarily focused on young couples or singles between late 20s and mid 40s, with kids of any age in tow! Events are generally fellowship-minded, including picnics, pot lucks, board game nights, etc. Events are largely kid-inclusive, but occasionally we gear events towards adults only. We aim to meet on Fridays or Saturdays, and we
generally stay in the Graham/Mebane/Gibsonville area, although these can vary.
If you want a genuinely welcome environment for meeting new people with no pressure, we would love to have you in our group!
Automobiles have always been part of my life, and I’m sure they always will be. What is it about them? The sound of a great engine, the unity and uniqueness of an automobile’s engineering, the history of it, and, of course, the sheer beauty of the thing. I’m hoping to foster new friendships through a common enthusiasm for automobiles. Yes we turn wrenches, talk combustion ratios and even enjoy a good race from time to time. We may meet at a car show to hang out or in one of our driveways to tinker with our own vehicles, but…
What if we could use this passion to spread the love of Jesus through our church and perhaps our entire community? I feel that God gave us the ability to repair vehicles and as long as my hands still work they will work for Him! I would like to set up days where we reach out to the church and help in the areas we are able. From there I believe we could extend our range out to the community and show how MY CHURCH IS KIND OF A BIG DEAL!
I am a knitwear designer / teacher / instructional illustrator. I would like to have a group of eager knitters and crocheters that would make prayer blankets. They will be used for the church distribution to needed members and a local hospital. Our group will meet 6:30 – 9:00 pm Thursday evenings, twice a month to knit/crochet, encourage and share our creations. All experience levels welcome. I’d be happy to teach anyone that has a desire to learn and serve.
We are a married couple (10 years this year) in our early 30’s with 3 daughters: Olivia-6, Charlotte-4, and Amelia-2. We live in Burlington. Alex has an IT role at Labcorp and travels often. Alexis is a stay at home Mom and keeps children for 2 other Trailhead families. As if life wasn’t crazy enough, we also have 4 dogs and 3 cats. We are typically home bodies. We love hanging out at home with the kiddos playing outside, watching movies, or spending time with our parents. Obviously, the majority of our events will be family focused because we feel it is so important for our kids to see us enjoying healthy Christian friendships. We also see this as an amazing opportunity for our kids to build lifelong Christian friendships. We want our group to love on each other, encourage one another and build each other up. Iron sharpens iron. We have some ideas for really fun group events, but we also want to involve everyone in planning. The events will vary in location, but we plan to do most events on the weekend, between Friday afternoon and Sunday evening. We look forward to meeting all of you and your families!
This group is about singing praise and worship songs and spending time in prayer. We will meet together and cover specific prayer requests in prayer. The only thing I ask is for you to bring your Bible and an open heart. Finger food is optional. So come on out and be blessed and be a blessing to others.
Our group will meet once a month for lunch in Durham, somewhere near Duke hospital. if you work in Durham and would be able to break out of the office once in a while for lunch with some fun ladies, join us!
“We are farmers, bum ba dum bum bum bum bum!” Brian and I (Nicole) are thrilled to be leading a group this year with our trailhead family! We have been blessed by this church since 2012 and have enjoyed raising our family here. We are in our early 30’s and have two boys ages 4 and 2. Any young families in their mid 20’s to late 30’s would fit right in with our crazy clan. We hope to typically plan family friendly events on Fridays, Saturdays, and maybe some Sundays after church depending on the availability of the group. Most events will probably be kid-friendly, but we plan to throw in some kid-free events too for everyone’s enjoyment (and sanity haha). Some monthly get-togethers would include (but not be limited to) cookouts/bonfires, hiking/picnics at local parks, bowling, science centers or children’s museums, zoo trip, ladies/men’s nights, game nights, local baseball game, splash park, camping, partnering with another Trailguide group for outings…and of course any ideas the group comes up with that may peak an interest. Brian is in local law enforcement and is in the national guard and Nicole works at a medical facility in durham so needless to say, we are used to working around crazy schedules to accommodate everyone. We live in Gibsonville, but the events would vary between Gibsonville, Burlington, Graham and other local areas depending on the event for the month. We can’t wait to meet you all!”
Reach Graham is a hands on mission group seeking to serve our immediate community. We aim to spread the love of Christ through visitation, home repair and renovation, yard work and any other needs that we are capable and called to do.
Our outreach projects are going to include; Home repair/renovation, yard work and visitation for those in our community with special needs as well as an adopt a grandparent program with a local nursing home.
We are Taylor and Leslie (26 and 35 yrs old) and have been married for 5 years and have two children (Kennedy, 4 and Kolton, 2). Leslie works in the school system and loves being with kids. Taylor is in law enforcement and his schedule is the reason that our meeting dates and times will vary. It will be our goal to plan and schedule events enough in advance to allot enough time for preparation and flexibility around the crazy schedules of work and family!
We want our group to include all ages, families, singles and kids. We look forward to cookouts, potlucks (dinners), game nights and sporting events! We love being outdoors and eating! We want our group to be about fellowship and loving on each other. We want group members to feel welcome at all times. We can’t wait to love on our group and become like family!
We are small family of 4 in our late 20’s! One 3 year old girl and a 5 month old boy, oh and 2 pups and 5 baby chickens! We love the outdoors and camping/hiking. We love crafting, eating, and enjoying friends and family. We will be doing outdoor activities at local parks, local events that are going on, as well as dinners and game nights.
We are a couple in our late 20s and have a daughter that will be two in November. We enjoy being outside, camping and spending time as a family. We like to incorporate everyone’s interests as we plan our group events. Our events are usually family oriented. We also like to create opportunities for the men and ladies to hang out separately, and we enjoy doing couples night out events too. Our group activities will consist of outdoor events, like camping, picnic or hiking, a get together at someone’s home, a bon fire out by the creek or a family game night. We want everyone to enjoy fellowshipping with one another. A few of the examples of events we’d like to do: A one night camping experience at Jordan lake; Picnic at cedar rock park /fish for the kiddos; Bowling night for couples; Coffee on a Saturday morning
We offer a recreational adult coed basketball group, open to all skill levels! We typically play once a month, on a Sunday afternoon. If you love to play a friendly game of basketball, with little bit of healthy competition, come out and be a part of the team! “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (NLT, Philippians 4:13)
Are you an empty nester, or soon to be? If so, come join us, Mark and Linda Schmidt, in a Kid free environment; where these middle aged group leaders will faciliate your common interest. Our group will meet every other Sunday at 7pm, at our home or other homes as offered by the group. The group’s shared interest will be focused on Bible Video Studies (using Right Now Media), discussion sharing and prayer.
As a group, we’ll sometime volunteer with Trailhead Church outreach opportunities, and together share in the planning of our group’s fellowship activities.
I have been a consistent runner for 2 years now and enjoy running for a group activity, training for a race, or a reason to be outdoors. This group is for those who love running or those who want to start running. Running with a group can make it so much more fun and motivate people to push through their goals and set new ones. Women of all distances and paces are welcome and wanted!
We are Rob and Cari Schmidt, a couple transitioning from our thirties to forties with three teenage daughters. Rob is an IT Professional who works from home, and Cari is an elementary school teacher. We are so excited to be leading a Trailguide group at Trailhead! We recently moved to NC from WA where we were part of a group for many years and made lifelong friendships. Our desire is to create the same type of group with you- one where we fellowship together, laugh together, pray together, and basically just do life together! We would love to do a short bible study, prayer, and fellowship each Thursday evening, and then meet for a meal and/or some sort of fun event on the fourth week. We even have three built in babysitters for our bible study weeks, so we welcome *all* ages, young and old!
I’ve been playing disc golf for 35+ years and still play tournaments in the grand master pro division. But I mostly just play for fun with my buds and my dog Buster. I love to encourage and mentor new players as they learn the dynamics and rules of the game. We would be playing at Cedarock park mostly, as there are two 18 hole courses there. Players need to be able to walk about 1.5 miles on hilly to rough terrain, and have plenty of hydration. I can provide loaner golf discs for beginners, and by the way… it’s free! I would not recommend kids under the age of 14. Its hard to have an exact age cut off, but they need to be fairly coordinated, respectful of other players, and stay behind the direction of play, as golf drivers are sharp edged and can cause injury. Also, disc golf is weather contingent, so rain or high winds will cause rescheduling. Be strong, pray long, and throw long!
We have been married for 35 years and have ministered out of our home as elders and pastors for most of our marriage. This group will be focused on adults and married couples and will feature a relaxed atmosphere where we can view faith-building videos with discussion afterward. We will lean away from videos that involve homework as we do not want to place people in a position of skipping group because they were busy or forgot to do it. We will pray together at each meeting to lift up the prayer needs of members. We would like to also do occasional outdoor fellowship activities such as boating and campfires as our home is on the Haw River.
We are Justin and Jessica Snyder. We live in Graham with our 3 young boys (Noah, Aedyn, and Gabe). We have been Trailguide leaders for 3 years and really enjoy getting to know and spending time with our group members. We tend to do more active family activities though sometimes we do meet up at restaurants. Past events include bowling, hiking, picnics, fishing, swimming, and campfires. We tend to meet on the weekends since the weekdays are so busy with work, school and the boys events. Our events locations vary between Burlington, Graham and Mebane; although we have travelled to Hanging Rock for a hike before. We are looking forward to getting to know you and your family!!
We are a married couple in our mid 30’s with an 8 yr old daughter, Echoe, and a small puppy, Koda! We love to spend time as a family and enjoy outings and get togethers that are family friendly! Our family also enjoys being outside and partaking in leisure activities (walking, low-moderate hikes, golf, swimming, biking, etc.). We welcome anyone from all ages and walks of life that share in these same interests to join us on this journey!

We are a 31 year old couple with a 4 year old daughter. We are so excited to make friends, build and strengthen relationships through Christ! We will meet once a month and choose family friendly activities every month. Occasionally, we may have a bible study or men/women only event. Some ideas of activities we will plan: cooking/pot lucks, game nights, parks/picnics, eating out, summer fun activities, celebrating all holidays, seasonal events, bowling, putt putt & more! We are so blessed to have you join us to better the kingdom!
My name is Joe Hunt, and I enjoy going golfing regularly. Our group would plan to go to the driving range weekly or biweekly, and play a round of golf once or twice a month depending on interest, weather, etc. Personally, my schedule is flexible, but I can see the possibility of doing the driving range in the evenings (especially as we get into summer) and playing rounds on the weekends.
We are working moms, but love playdates to get the kid’s energy out and hanging out with other moms! There are times when you want to go out picking strawberries, do fun park playdates, or takes trips to places like the zoo, but everyone else is going during working hours. This group hope’s to plan fun family inclusive events (with the occasional mom’s night out) to work in the working mom’s schedule.
