MORE INFORMATION

"We are farmers, bum ba dum bum bum bum bum!" Brian and I (Nicole) are thrilled to be leading a group this year with our trailhead family! We have been blessed by this church since 2012 and have enjoyed raising our family here. We are in our early 30's and have two boys ages 4 and 2. Any young families in their mid 20's to late 30's would fit right in with our crazy clan. We hope to typically plan family friendly events on Fridays, Saturdays, and maybe some Sundays after church depending on the availability of the group. Most events will probably be kid-friendly, but we plan to throw in some kid-free events too for everyone's enjoyment (and sanity haha). Some monthly get-togethers would include (but not be limited to) cookouts/bonfires, hiking/picnics at local parks, bowling, science centers or children's museums, zoo trip, ladies/men's nights, game nights, local baseball game, splash park, camping, partnering with another Trailguide group for outings...and of course any ideas the group comes up with that may peak an interest. Brian is in local law enforcement and is in the national guard and Nicole works at a medical facility in durham so needless to say, we are used to working around crazy schedules to accommodate everyone. We live in Gibsonville, but the events would vary between Gibsonville, Burlington, Graham and other local areas depending on the event for the month. We can't wait to meet you all!"

What are trailguide groups?

Trailguide groups are focused more on developing relationships than doing an activity. Every group looks different, but all of them have a committed leader who helps facilitate events and maintain connections with the group members. We want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to connect in a Trailguide group, so we ask that you join only one Trailguide group.
