Worship Interpretive Dance

Genesis 1:2 says that “The Spirit of God was MOVING over the face of the waters.” Have you ever imagined this scene? The Holy Spirit moving?
Movement was present during the creation of the world. Throughout the Bible, we see that God created music and dance for His Glory! And He invites us to dance in worship.
We plan to meet once a week to dedicate 90 minutes of worship in dance. We will also be directing some exercises, but the goal is to gather worshipers together, to pray and dance together. We call those who are open and willing to join us in the presence of God and with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
If you have ever listened to worship music and something inside of you wants to dance or you imagine yourself dancing, come join us!
“Praise Him with timbrel and dancing…” ~Psalm 150:4

Intercessor’s for Alamance county

Our mission for this group is to take on interceding for Alamance county. We sing, pray and worship the Lord at every meeting. We will start going to different places to pray over places and peoples. We are going to start taking responsibility for our county and when we see a wrong we will pray for a way for God to make a right. We believe that we need more of God in our community and the best way is through prayer and worship. So if you have a desire to intercede through prayer, dance, drawing, painting or most any art form come on and try us out, if you like what we are about then sign up. God made all of the arts and He lets us use what He has made for His Glory and Honor. I am so excited to get this started, I felt led to change our group name and to change our meetings somewhat. Come on out and catch a blessing and be a blessing to our entire community.

Bible Journaling Group

HEY I’M JENNIFER! I’M VERY EXCITED FOR THIS TYPE OF JOURNALING IS A CONVERSATION WITH GOD. KEEPING A JOURNAL, ALONGSIDE THE NOTES THAT YOU’VE MADE WHILE STUDYING THE LIVING WORD, CAN HELP YOU BETTER UNDERSTAND YOUR WALK WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. I’D LIKE THIS TO INCLUDE ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN CREATIVE WAYS TO WORSHIP AND GROW THROUGH WRITTEN WORDS OR DRAWING. THE GOAL IS TO MEET ONCE A MONTH AND FOLLOW A JOURNALING PLAN TOGETHER BUT AT YOUR OWN PACE.

I WILL HAVE A VARIETY OF WRITING AND COLORING SUPPLIES AVAILABLE AT EACH OF OUR MEETINGS. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING ANYTHING YOU THINK YOU’D NEED TO MAKE YOUR JOURNALING EXPERIENCE MORE HEARTFELT AND PERSONAL.

We would meet at different non chained restaurants.

Trailhead Mountain Bikers Group

I hope to schedule a ride at least once a month at various trails in the area and depending on interest an occasional road trip to trails further away.

We offer a recreational adult coed basketball group, open to all skill levels! We typically play once a month, on a Sunday afternoon. If you love to play a friendly game of basketball, with little bit of healthy competition, come out and be a part of the team! “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (NLT, Philippians 4:13)

Family Hiking Group

We are Justin and Jessica Snyder. We live in Graham with our 3 young boys (Noah, Aedyn, and Gabe). We enjoy spending time with our boys and love the outdoors. As the weather warms up we plan on hitting the trails. We would love for you to come explore the beauty of NC with us!

Disc Golf Group

I’ve been playing disc golf for 35+ years and still play tournaments in the grand master pro division. But I mostly just play for fun with my buds and my dog Buster. I love to encourage and mentor new players as they learn the dynamics and rules of the game. We would be playing at Cedarock park mostly, as there are two 18 hole courses there. Players need to be able to walk about 1.5 miles on hilly to rough terrain, and have plenty of hydration. I can provide loaner golf discs for beginners, and by the way… it’s free! I would not recommend kids under the age of 14. Its hard to have an exact age cut off, but they need to be fairly coordinated, respectful of other players, and stay behind the direction of play, as golf drivers are sharp edged and can cause injury. Also, disc golf is weather contingent, so rain or high winds will cause rescheduling. Be strong, pray long, and throw long!

Durham Ladies Lunch Club

Our group will meet once a month for lunch in Durham, somewhere near Duke hospital. if you work in Durham and would be able to break out of the office once in a while for lunch with some fun ladies, join us!

Golf Group

My name is Joe Hunt, and I enjoy going golfing regularly. Our group would plan to go to the driving range weekly or biweekly, and play a round of golf once or twice a month depending on interest, weather, etc. Personally, my schedule is flexible, but I can see the possibility of doing the driving range in the evenings (especially as we get into summer) and playing rounds on the weekends.

Co-ed Sports & More Group

Daniel and I are very active and athletic. We love sports, Jesus, and Trailhead! We will be hosting a co-ed sporting event once a month for anyone who is looking for a way to become involved. Our goal is to be diverse in our athletic events and as competitive as possible! We hope you will join us as we build our Trailhead community, one sporting event at a time.

As fellowshipriders.org explodes world-wide with riders coming to Jesus worldwide. Our national mottos are “Powered by Christ” and “Start a rumble in your church”. Nationally 98% of all motorcycle riders are unchurched. Here is our ministry field white to harvest.
