WHY FREE E-VISITS?

You may not know that most people won’t need to seek treatment for COVID-19. It’s especially important to limit unnecessary emergency room and urgent care medical visits to ease strain on the health care system and to avoid spreading the virus. But it can be difficult to know what is or isn’t considered unnecessary.

If you’re unsure whether you should be tested or need treatment for COVID-19, Trailhead Church is offering free virtual COVID-19 e-visits with two licensed nurse practitioners who are longtime members of our congregation. This service will be limited to only COVID-19 information and will be informed by CDC guidelines alone. We are not able to provide any other medical care or advice.

We hope that this will help our community members be more confident in their COVID medical decisions.

PREPARE FOR YOUR E-VISIT

We will use Zoom Video Conference to video chat with you during your appointment. (If you do not have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with internet capabilities, we will call you directly, but we may not be able to provide a full assessment.)

If you plan to join the appointment on your smartphone or tablet, please first download the Zoom app (available for both Apple and Android) and sign up for a free account. If you plan to join the appointment on your computer, please first sign up for a free Zoom account by visiting https://zoom.us/signup. If you already have an existing Zoom account, you can just use that!

After you schedule your appointment, a calendar invitation will be emailed to you with a unique link for your Zoom meeting. When you’re ready to start your appointment, just click that link. Simple as that!

Making an appointment is easy, just select the green button below to get started.
